Photo Hunt 170: Rocks

Today's theme is ROCKS.

The Salem witch trials were a series of hearings before local magistrates followed by county court trials to prosecute people accused of witchcraft in Essex, Suffolk and Middlesex counties of colonial Massachusetts, between February 1692 and May 1693 Over 150 people were arrested and imprisoned, with even more accused but not formally pursued by the authorities. The two courts convicted 29 people of the capital felony of witchcraft. Nineteen of the accused, fourteen women and five men, were hanged. One man (Giles Corey) refused to enter a plea was crushed to death under heavy stones in an attempt to force him to do so.

Photo Hunter: Together

The theme of this weekend's photo hunter is "TOGETHER." Family should always be together, so I offer my daughter and her cousin as my entry. :) This was taken at our youngest two cousins' baptism.

Photo Hunt: Blue

Here's my addition for this week's photo hunt: blue. The blue on the sign showing me I was almost home. After the time in Cleveland, it was so good to see that sign! I have to go back on the 17th and spend a week getting daily 5-hour intensive IV therapy, but the thought of seeing that blue sign on the 21st will keep me going. The neurologist thinks I need to stop all my current meds and get on a totally new regiment of meds, so he'll infuse me with the new stuff. He warned me it will be very painful the first few days, but I promised to give anything a try if it could help, so....

This week's theme is lazy. I think this fits. :) It was taken in Benezette, PA, Janie. :) I had to drive through there, well, ride through since I rarely drive anymore, on my way to work last week.

Photo Hunt: Sad

The theme for this week's Photo Hunt is "Sad". I'll use one of our dog Aphrodite. She is always sad when the kid leave for school. She'll just stay in the chair with one of her stuffed toys or lay on the floor with her ball, then mope around until the kids get home from school at 3 p.m. When theme for General Hospital comes on, her ears prick up and she runs to the door to great them. It's a riot to see her. She knows exactly when to go to the door based on a song. As soon as the first chord of the theme plays, she goes right there to wait.

My entry for this week is our beach umbrella. We forgot to pack our regular blue one when we left, so we bought a new one as we were passing by one of the dozens and dozens of little beach shops. I think it's pretty colorful.
