Camera Critters

I took this elephant's photo at the Pittsburgh Zoo last week. They have a nice set up, but it was sooo hot. I felt bad for the animals. The polar bears were miserable and kept trying to get back into their caves, but they were locked out.

Thanks for stopping over, Does your cat watch animal planet all the time?
Casey only watches when the meerkats come on, never anything else on tv or AP i wonder if the sounds they make that catches his attention.

I am sorry to read that the zoo does not make special efforts to keep animals cool, especially the polar bears. The Toronto ZOO is very progressive and does have a special unit for polar bears.

Nice picture of the elephant...we saw some at Great Adventure today. It was over cast and very cool so the animals were all out! My picture (not of an elephant, lol) is posted on my other blog Snapshot Memories

Gretchen, You can increase the number of flags in your flagcounter by opening up the template source and find the flagcounter code. Erase the 20 and put in a higher number. Mine is set for 60. You may already know this but I noticed you were at your maximum number of 20.

That's not right! They should have laws about how hot it can get before the polar bear gets to go back inside!
