My World Tuesday

These photos were taken at a local State park called Parker Dam. We go there quite often during the summer because it's close and you can hike, canoe, fish, picnic and more. Since it's snowing, I wanted to remember the fun and sun!

This is a new photo meme I want to give a try. It shows off our local part of the world. If you want to take part, stop over at That's My World and see all the details!

Looks like a lot of fun! That second picture looks a bit ominous for kayakers.

Luckily, that area is off limit to kayakers or my kids would definitely be trying to go over it!

It is chilly here, but not snowing. Parker Dam looks like it would be an enjoyable place to spend a summer afternoon.

Hi Gretchen! Did you say 'snowing'? No wonder you wanted some fun in the sun. Here I was feeling sorry for myself because we are in the midst of a nor'easter with strong wind and rain. I feel better now. Thanks. lol. Lisa

Thank you for the wonderful tour. This 2nd week of meme really makes us appreciate the many places that we don't usually see or ever had a chance to visit like the one you showed me in this post. Hope you get to have time to check my world too. Another great job and more to come in the coming weeks.
