Camera Critters

When we were at Busch Gardens over the summer, we had to stop and see the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales. The horses are massive. Their hooves are bigger than my head!

If you want to take part in this fun meme, check out the Camera Critters homepage for all the details.

How impressive are these horses. They were probably good farm horses then.Great shot.
How horrible Gretchen to turn off the lights. Well that won't happen nowadays, because we all had Egyptian guides who were qualified to lead groups and who protected us from criminals. The problem is that there are so many vendors, who try to sell all those cards and souvenirs.

I'm a big fan of these Clydesdales. I used to know one of the farriers, who was from my home town.

I have seen these horses and other teams of draft horses at the Royal Winter Fair, in Toronto. They are quite amazing.

Around here there still are hobby horsemen that have draft teams. They a reminders of the years of working with horse in the bush to skid out logs and haul large sleighs of logs.
