Camera Critters 47
OK, technically, Anubis isn't an animal, he's a God, but he does have the head of a jackal, so I thought it would work. :)

Gretchen: What a neat look at some special works of art. I will post later today.
Those are just amazing! I don't know how they do it!
Gosh, those are some incredible pieces for sure!! Wow.... very neat indeed!
Hope your weekend is going well.
Mountain Retreat
I would not have thought that possible. D'star has fallen for the dragon... of course.
That is way awesome. There's a place we go by when we're in Vermont that does some amazing work but Anubis is really wow!
Excellent photos of some amazing craftsmanship. I don't see how they can do that.
interesting! i love the interpretive critters.
These are so beautiful, they did a wonderful job
That's very nice ! It changes us a bit from dogs, cats and cows, lol !
Hi Gretchen, thanks for the warm welcome. These are amazing carvings. I have heard about Anubis... Is there also a story behind the second one? Best wishes :)
Anubis works for me! It is unbelievable what they can do with a chain saw! All that detail is incredible. I have a difficult time using a chainsaw to chop a log in half!

Amazing works of art to be created with a chainshaw and the lateral thinking on cthe cretaure is inpsired.
What an interesting post. It amazes me the detail the artists are able to achieve with such a large tool. Great post!
Wow, the details in the carvings are amazing! I like the cat (I think it's a cat) at Anubis' feet.
Those are amazing wood sculptures. Such great details.
