Last walk on the beach for this trip
A and I got up early this morning while the boys were still snoring away and decided to take one last walk on the beach and dip our toes in the ocean before we leave. It was so peaceful and quiet at 6 a.m. Very few people were there, so we were able to take many photos and just enjoy the scene. Of course, my mini Ty Peace bear needed to get his photo taken in front of the ocean. He travels everywhere with me and likes to have a photo to remember the trips.
We picked up some seashells and a couple seagull feathers to create a little seaside display to remind us of the trip. I also found a crab shell that the kids named "Mr. Stinky Butt" because he smells like saltwater. He'll be in the display, too. Now if the evil Darth Mittens will just leave it alone we'll be all set.
It's been a week to remember and will keep us going until our next trip. For Randy and myself, that will be Monday, for the kids it will be at the end of the month when we spend a couple days in Erie with my friend.
