Aphrodite the mighty squirrel huntress!
I'll add my weekend snapshots now. Been a long couple days.
Anyway, these were taken while we were out backpacking. A squirrel ran across our path and Aphrodite went after it. The squirrel was lucky she was leashed!

Aphrodite looks so loveable!
The Mighty Tonka Unit does that with rabbits. Which is why he's always leashed when visiting "Rabbit Country". We have so many squirrels around that he seems to be immune to them, but let Bugs Bunny hop into view and you better brace yourself and hope you see him first.
And I gotta agree with Angie... Aphrodite was aptly named.
She's a beautiful dog!
